Paws For a Good Cause

Shoe designer Ruthie Davis and mens designer John Bartlett have combined their talents, creativity, and love for animals and created these "cruelty-free" shoes. The Davis & Bartlett designs are made from sustainable and vegan materials that bear Bartlett's "Tiny Tim" prints, a colorful motif of the designers three-legged pit bull who died in 2010.
The lineup includes three styles: A women's high-heel pump, a unisex high-top sneaker detailed with spikes, and a unisex running shoe. Ruthie Davis has amazing shoes so it was no surprise to me when I was instantly drawn to the pumps. I think they chose the best transition colors for this coming season and I feel like these shoes are going to be really popular. The shoes will retail at around $398-$698 and will be available in late January on ruthiedavis.com and johnbartlettny.com and select retailers.
Ten percent of the sales will go to Bartlett's Tiny Tim Rescue Fund, which provides resources to organizations that help treat and find homes for animals in shelters.
I think its really cool that they have found a way to bring their common interest together and create something that will benefit both the fashion world and the animals.
Way to go Ruthie and John!
