So, let me just start by saying that I had an AMAZING time. I was surrounded by so many beautiful people. It was truly a great night. S/O to Teen Vogue for putting together yet another successful event!
xoxo
The tables were covered with cakes and sweets. There were also a variety of masks for those who were feeling a little mysterious that night. Along with the sweets, we were also given shrimp tacos, sushi, lobster rolls, rice balls, pretzels, and some really amazing mojitos, and passion fruit splashers. The presentation and the food received a 10 in my book. But that's not surprising, any food from anywhere gets a 10 from me lol
The Victorious star, Victoria Justice was one of the many faces that graced the pink carpet. Wearing an edgy red velvet top with gold spikes and a flattering black leather skirt. She's giving you Betty Boop and a little Olive Oil (Popeye's girlfriend) and I was loving it. She looked amazing.
I managed to get a quick picture with Julianne Moore just as she was getting ready to leave. After we took the picture and I said my sincerest "thank you so much", I overheard her son say something along the lines of "don't come and get us mom. We'll walk home ok?" I assume having Julianne Moore as your mom, that a normal task such as trying to get home can be a little tough for many reason: One possibly being that people notice your mom before you. So I understood where he was coming from when he told her not to come back for them. BUT I still cant help but think, How cool would it be for Julianne Moore to come and pick you up from a party?
The ever so talented Tori Kelly was the first performer to grace the stage. She performed her cover of "PYT" by Michael Jackson, and a song form her EP "Handmade Songs By Tori Kelly" called Confetti. I was in awe. And might I add that I just so happened to be in the right place at the right time because when they announced that Tori Kelly was coming to the stage, I turned around, and there she was, right in front of me. I had a front row space without squeezing my way through. Lucky me right? I know. It's always a great experience to listen to an artist that you love and admire in such a intimate-like setting. She did an amazing job and I enjoyed every minute of it. If you've never heard of her before or haven't listened to her current EP yet, I encourage you all to check her out!
I guess I have a thing for catching people just as they are trying to sneak away lol. Me and Tori Kelly were both on way out the door when I spotted her and politely asked her to take a quick picture. She was more than willing to take a picture with me, and I didn't even have to turn on the Tor Charm lol. When I approached her she said "Hey! I remember you. I saw you in the front!" That made my heart smile. She noticed me dancing and singing right along with her and that's what I wanted. She is such a sweet person. And it was a pleasure to meet her.
The fabulous Kate Nash was the DJ for the night. With her 60's hairstyle (victory rolls and soft curls) and her gorgeous dress that I wanted to steal from her lol, she rocked it. She's honestly one of the coolest DJs I've ever met! She interacted with the entire crowd the whole night. I felt like I was partying with a best friend or something. She is such a great to be in the presence of! Love love love her!
Chloe saying thank you to everyone after blowing out her candles. She was so grateful for everyone that came out to celebrate with her. It was really an honor to be there and share that special day with her.
Chloe and Kate Nash jamming. Sidenote: Countdown by Beyonce was playing during this moment and the two of them went crazy and got the crowd even more hype!
Chloe, dancing some more. You could just tell that she was having so much fun. She danced and sang non-stop the entire night.
Oh just me and some pretty hot waiters. I'm sure being in a room full of girls and having to serve them made them want to go crazy, but they kept their cool the whole night, walking around with huge smiles on their face as if they loved every minute of the chaos.
Thank You boys, you were appreciated.
Here's my outfit. Gold Skinnys, sheer top, and fuchsia Jessica Simpson Pumps. I left it up to my shoes and my fancy pants to make/complete the outfit, so I kept it light with my choice of Jewelry.
I had a fabulous time, I wish you all could have been there!
