As some of you might already know, I attended the On The Run concert in Philadelphia this past weekend. Let me start by saying, clap for em! BRAVO Bey and Jay! I am a huge Jay Z fan. There's no man other than God that I look up to as much as I look up to him. Its deeper than a lyrical respect that I have for him. And Beyonce, or "Mutha Bey" as my mom and I like to call her, Is EVERYTHING. I've been a fan of hers for a verrryyy long time as well. She is an entertainer in every sense of the word and puts her heart on the stage while snatching wigs and slaying simultaneously. Vocals, choreography, outfit changes, transitions, visuals, Everything was just outstanding. I have never screamed, danced and rapped/sang the lyrics to their songs so hard in my life. By the end of the night I was speechless, literally and figuratively. I do have to admit that it felt more like a Hov concert than a duet tour. I really felt like he stole the show. And honestly, I'm not even mad about that. Overall the concert was absolutely amazing and I'm so glad that I was able to experience it!

A small detail, reppin' the Beyhive with my beehive/honeycomb design on my pinky.
My mom and I.
Did I mention we had awesome field seats?
Getting tickets was surely no walk in the park. The night before the Beyhive pre-sale, I set my alarm for 6am and had both my computer and my phone stationed on Ticket Master to prepare me for the ultimate search for tickets to this show. I was able to get one ticket right away in what seemed like a pretty good section. Once I got my ticket conformation, I called my mom and told her and both of us were souped! Then the next day I searched for more tickets for my friends and was able to find one more ticket for a seat that was in a section close to mine. As I proceeded to checkout, I thought to myself, "there's someone who needs to experience this!" So I purchased my ticket, called my mom while she was at work and harassed her, repeatedly asking her "How much do you love me?" lol. After asking her if she loved me more than Beyonce and getting the perfect response ("Yes..now what do you want?") I told her that I was able to get her a ticket. She was at work, and couldn't scream but I knew she was excited. Now, I knew we had good seats but I had no idea they were great seats. When we asked one of the ushers to show us where our seats were and they directed to the field I was really shocked. I instantly became even more anxious, nervous, and excited. It was......Outstanding.
