Pure

White is one of my favorite colors. When doing an all white look the toughest part is always matching whites. I have had these white pants for a very long time and I have been trying to find the perfect white top to match it perfectly. This top was given to my by sister and I was so excited to finally put this all white look together.

LBD

You can never have too many little black dresses. As of right now I currently own 10. And between you and me...I still don't think that's enough. Someone of you know that I've decided to give up shopping for lent. In case you aren't familiar with what that is, its when you make a 40 days sacrifice of any kind. Therefore I am not allowed to shop for pleasure until Easter. So before you people who knew about my sacrifice before, I just want you to know that I purchased this dress before I decided to give up shopping. So please don't yell at me. Now back to the dress. Its strapless and the perfect length. I like the fact that it is very fitting, and the rose details give it that romantic feeling that we all know I adore. I'm anxious to it show off!

St.Patty's

I'm sure many of you have missed me and my outfit post. But I've been busy with life and the weather where I live hasn't been the best. Seeing as though I am a summer girl, I am not a fan of the snow or extreme cold weather. However, that's all we've been getting and its really giving me a slight case of S.A.D.
Hopefully this weather is coming to an end soon. I mean, it is the middle of March.
It is obviously time for this girl to move to a place where the sun is always shinning and winter isn't unbearable.
Anyway, yesterday was St. Patrick's Day and normally as I do with every holiday (because I'm festive and love holidays) I wore the national color!

Working on my wardrobe

Its time for me to really get serious about revamping my wardrobe and "dressing my age". My style icons and inspirations have changed in a great way and I cant wait to get started creating a better more mature me. Here are a few items that I've currently added to my closet.

Cozy

FACT: I use to be anti-sweatpants. Until I discovered these Phillip Lim sweats. If I could, I would wear them all the time....maybe not all the time but I would wear them often.

Fallin'

I'm not ready to fully convert to fall colors yet. But the not-so-fall weather has been justifying my not-so-fall colors. Today I dug up my sheer electric blue tunic, my go-to jeans, Louboutins, and my green bag.

I like to think of this bag as a "Big Girl Investment". I call it that because it is a very mature bag. The color, they style, the attitude, it all reads mature sophisticated young adult. And I always feel like a big girl when I carry it.

M A R A N T

I'm sure we are all anticipating the arrival of the Marant for H&M collection. As we get closer and closer to the release date, I decided to take a look at the interview Marant did with someone from H&M Magazine.

When asked what she would like to achieve with the H&M collaboration, she replied "H&M is very democratic and quite realistic in terms of what people really wear. In the same way, I'm not into fantasy. I think more about being true to the lives we lead today. So with H&M, I want to share my style and my vision with a wide range of people."

The wedge sneaker made was a huge hit, so I'm sure her pieces for H&M will be a success as well. I feel as though for whatever reason people weren't familiar with Isabel Marant until her sneakers became super popular. I hope this collaboration gives those who didn't know who she was a chance to get familiar because she is an amazing designer.

Not only will there be awesome pieces for us ladies, but Isabel Marant also worked on some pieces for men (for the fist time). Marant stated "...It was fun to figure out how to translate my woman to menswear. I must say, I'm not very fond of men that look too fashionable. In terms of pieces, I knew exactly what I could do, but then to make it look nice and real for men was not as easy as I had thought in the beginning."

If you haven't picked up your copy of the H&M Magazine I suggest you do so. Head over to your local H&M  and grab a copy to read the full interview. And mark your calendars for November 14th!!

I've so adopted this whole comfy chic/glam thing. I enjoy being comfortable and dressing down from time to time, but I also LOVE my heels. By way of playing dress up I managed to put together this outfit.

Shoes from Zara. Black faux fur. Grey sweatshirt with sequins sleeves from Target. Denim pants from H&M. Black woven baseball cap.
