Jeremy Scott Takes Over Moschino Pre-fall 2014

I was casually scrolling down my Instagram news feed, as I do everyday,  when my jaw dropped at what I was witnessing. Moschino and Jeremy Scott took to Instagram and posted pictures of the pre-fall 2014 line. Jeremy Scott is the new creative director for Moschino and I can already tell that this is going to be a beautiful relationship. We all know that Jeremy Scott is known for his amazing vision, and his use of colors shapes, and patterns, but I don't think anyone knew what to expect with this collaboration. I wont say that I am impressed because I had a feeling he was going to do damage (in a good way), however I will say that I absolutely love what he's doing so far for this line.
He is a genius!

I adore the fact that these purses are made to look like little Moschino jackets. So creative and very different.

There's something a little sexy about an over-sized graphic-tee paired with a pair of  classic pumps. These two are definitely on my wish list!

This dress and this coat are also on my wish list. As weird as it may look, once again I find it very sexy and fun. I love the illusion of the silk slip with lace details. It makes your mind wonder "whats she really wearing underneath, if that's what shes wearing on top?" It makes you think. And that's what fashion and new designs are suppose to do.

This Letterman jacket and skirt set is really different as well. Most people wouldn't think to create something like this but Mr. Jeremy Scott did. He did a great job on this collection like he does with everything he's apart of! Head over to Instagram to see more of the collection @itsjeremyscott and @moschino

3.1 Phillip Lim X Target

Target is at it again. As if Neiman Marcus and Prabal wasn't enough. Target is preparing for its newest collaboration with Phillip Lim and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. When I first examined the lookbook for this collection I was not impressed. I'm a fan of Phillip Lim and I know he's capable of awesomeness, so I'm going to remain open-minded as always and just wait for the full collection to show its self.  I'm anxious to see more than what I've seen from the lookbook because so far it seems a little plain (Just my honest opinion, don't kill me).

I read his interview with Glamour and I have to say that I see where he was going and I see what he wanted to portray. And I totally get it.
During the Glamour interview, Lim was asked what his favorite part of working on this collection was. His response: "My favorite part of working on this collection was also the hardest part, which was the challenge of making a modern-day capsule wardrobe that actually addresses real needs but at the same time imparted desire. You know what I mean? Because that's hard to do. I can throw glitter on everything, but the truth is we cant always live in glitter 24-7 as much as I would love to. It was really like, OK, what are the codes, the modern-day codes. And what was the big challenge actually, to actually push further, push a huge entity like Target to actually push back [on me] and actually make sophisticated clothes that didn't require just glitter"

The collection is said to hit stores September 15th, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what else there is to this. I'm having mixed feelings. What are your thoughts on Target's new collaborations?
